Short term accomodation and case management services
Bowman Johnson Hostel is a 22-bed hostel which provides short term accommodation combined with case management services for homeless persons or persons at risk of being homeless.
The hostel is situated at 5 Oxford Street South Brisbane, close to the city, bus stops, the West Village shopping precinct and Southbank.
The hostel offers fully supported accommodation for a rate of $31/night (which are inclusive of meals, use of facilities and case management services).
Our target group are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander male and female adults (over 18 years old) who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Non-Indigenous adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness may also access our service when rooms are available.
The hostel is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Staff include the hostel manager, case workers, a cook and night watchmen.
